California
Based in the Silicon Valley region of Northern California, TVC’s Investor Outreach Office links investors with technology entrepreneurs seeking funding. The Investor Outreach Office supports TVC’s technology transfer and commercialization activities at the Department of Energy’s Nuclear Energy facilities at the Idaho National Laboratory, Argonne National Laboratory, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Savannah River Laboratory. In doing so, it works with venture and other equity capital investors who are looking for investment opportunities in technologies developed in these labs.
While TVC as a whole works with entrepreneurs to help them develop their business case and fund raising tools, specifically their investor presentations, TVC’s Investor Outreach Office works with investors to understand their expectations, their investment philosophies, the level of investment funds they have available and their anticipated returns. Doing this, we meet our historic goal, which is to match the right investor with the right technology.
Over the past 15 years, the TVC model has been recognized as one of the most successful commercialization approaches offered to those seeking to start a high technology business.
