TVC expanded from its Albuquerque headquarters in 2002 as a result of a contract with the Department of Energy to support commercialization on a wider scale. That expansion established additional site offices; and while the specific locations were determined by the national labs, TVC’s focal areas are considerably broader because of other public research institutions, especially universities.
