TVC Growth Strategies

In 2015, the City of Albuquerque, the Albuquerque Community Foundation, and the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation challenged the community to propose bold ideas to support the creation and growth of new companies in Albuquerque.

This initiative allowed us the opportunity to establish  TVC Growth Strategies. It is an assistance program designed to support small and medium-sized companies seeking strategic insights and operational business advice and serves as a resource for companies interested in growing their business and solving operational inefficiencies to make lasting performance improvements.

Technology Ventures Corporation (a nonprofit 501(c)3 private foundation founded and funded by Lockheed Martin Corporation) has been working with startups, assisting technologists, and partnering with investors since 1993.  We’ve employed a successful commercialization model that connects those key players and have helped to create companies and take federal laboratory inventions to the marketplace.

Now, we are building on that model and supporting entrepreneurship beyond the initial tech transfer/startup phase by further assisting small and medium high-tech companies.

Our Growth Strategies team takes each client company through an evaluative process before designing a customized set of recommendations.  These recommendations may include access to additional business and educational resources to help that client company accelerate to the next level.

We will build upon our existing connectivity and collaboration expertise and focus on leveraging our networks to match client companies with the capabilities and resources that best fit their needs.
