New Mexico Flying 40 Awards 2008
The 2008 New Mexico Flying 40 awards--given to the state’s fastest-growing technology-based businesses.
New Mexico’s future is technology; and New Mexico’s future is bright. Jobs
at the Flying Forty increased from 2,636 in 2002 to more than 4400 in 2007, a 67 percent
increase. Revenue increased from $401 million in 2002 to over $774 million
in 2007, a 93 percent increase.
“The greater Albuquerque region, Forbes says is the single ‘best place for business and careers’ and it’s these technology-based companies that cause Forbes to rank us no. 1. Our new technology-based economy has been born. The Flying 40 is an example of the finest New Mexico has to offer,” said TVC President Sherman McCorkle.
The event is sponsored by KPMG, LLP, New Mexico Bank & Trust, the Albuquerque Journal Business Outlook, and Technology Ventures Corporation.
The technology companies selected for the Flying 40 will be honored at an awards luncheon on June 12, 2008, 11:30AM- 1:30PM, at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Albuquerque.
