Privacy policy

Updated September 11, 2026.

Tech Ventures is operated under the name techventures.org in the Isle of Man. This policy explains the information involved when you read this site.

Reading the site

You do not need an account to read our articles. The site has no comment forms, newsletter signup, or checkout. We do not use visitor analytics, advertising pixels, or affiliate tracking.

Hosting and page delivery

Netlify hosts this site. Your browser sends technical information needed to request pages, such as your IP address, browser details, requested address, and request time. Hosting services may process this information to deliver pages, keep the service secure, and diagnose faults. See Netlify's privacy statement for information about its services.

Pages also load AMP software from cdn.ampproject.org. That service receives the technical information sent with those requests, including your IP address. Images are served with the site. We have not added marketing or analytics cookies.

Links to other websites

Our articles link to product websites and other resources. When you follow a link, the destination site's own privacy rules apply. Your browser may share referring-page information according to its settings.

Contact

Our published contact address is info@techventures.org. Email is handled outside this website. Do not send passwords, payment details, or other sensitive information.

Editorial assistance and commercial links

We use AI assistance for research, drafting, editing, and illustrations. Alex Rowan is an editorial pen name, and the author portrait is an illustration. Product judgments do not imply hands-on testing unless an article expressly describes it.

We currently have no affiliate programs, and the product links on this site do not earn us affiliate commissions. If that changes, we will update the relevant disclosures.

Your privacy rights

Your rights depend on the law that applies to you and the information involved. You can find guidance on access, correction, and other data rights from the Isle of Man Information Commissioner, including how to raise a concern.

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the site's features or data practices change. The date above shows the latest revision.
